HealPay today announced attendance at the 2018 RustConf, a two-day event to be held on August 16th and 17th in Portland, Oregon at the Oregon Convention Center. The event, which is a gathering of Rust’s established community and newcomers, is sponsored by several major tech companies including Google, Facebook, Mozilla, and GitHub.
Lori Holden, CTO; and Tristan Mortimer and Esty Thomas, both software developers, will be attending the conference. This will be HealPay’s second year attending RustConf.
“Rust is a growing programming language focused on performance, resilience, and security - a technology that hits a sweet spot for our services at HealPay,” Tristan remarks. “By attending RustConf, we’re ensuring that we’ll be using the latest innovations and best practices in the language and ecosystem.”
RustConf will provide training opportunities for developers. The optional first day of the event will feature half-day tutorials from the Rust team with themes like “Rust for Beginners” and “Futures and Async Training.” The second day is the main conference event and will include talks for every level of expertise.
HealPay is currently seeking software developers with Rust experience to join its growing team. Interested applicants can view the job postings at HealPay.com/jobs.
